DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOPS AND ENGAGEMENTS

Custom workshops focused on your precise problem space empower your team to confidently tap into creativity, resulting in actionable solutions. Initial sessions typically include an orientation to design thinking, empathy-building activities, challenge definition, ideation, storyboarding or prototyping, and a discussion of next steps. Think of it as the most productive meeting you’ll ever have. Ongoing engagement can include idea refinement, customer/community cocreation and advanced team training. Learn more.

REDESIGNING THE CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

Below the Fold is partnering with the Latinx Education Collaborative on a mission to develop powerful Latinx future-educators. By providing sixth graders with design thinking experiences that stimulate creativity, we're sparking meaningful interest in the craft of education while building human-centered problem solving capacity at a pivotal age. We are currently seeking sixth grade classrooms for our pilot initative, which launches in Spring 2020. To learn more, email Jennifer.

RESILIENCE THINKING

This transformational one-day session developed with trauma and mindfulness professional Beth Sarver provides a basic orientation to design thinking and trauma-sensitive practice, which are inextricably connected by empathy. An active learning approach to brain-based education makes information actionable and our time together fun. Participants walk away empowered with a cogent plan to begin bringing trauma-informed principles to your community. Learn more.
